HS- how long will this take?

We are spending a day at HS- getting there rope drop, want to take a mid day break for toddler, and then coming back for fantasmic dining package. It just seems like there isn't a lot to do at HS for us- and I am trying to plan timing best I can for FP.

We are NOT doing Rock and Roll Roller coaster, Tower of Terror, Jedi Training. After that it doesn't look like much. I think lights motors action isn't even going on then? (October) Just a rough estimate how many hours do you think it will take to do the little bit that is left? TIA

I was surprised how much my toddlers LOVED hollywood studios. We had a great day there. They loved Toy Story Midway Mania. We did little mermaid show and the disney jr show, both big hits. They love Muppets so we did that. We missed Frozen sing along because they were asleep during our fast pass but I am sure they would have loved that too! The highlight of the day was characterpalooza, though, so definitely try and catch it if Kenny the Pirate has it listed for the day you are there. We did none of the things you mentioned not doing, and we were there all day!
