Ok so I've changed around my reservations so much I'm starting to go crazy and could use a little help. We are a party of two adults. I currently have a Sci Fi dinner booked for one of our HS nights. However, I was thinking of switching to Hollywood and Vine with Pixar/Fantasmic Package.

I have been to sci fi multiple times, but don't love the menu. Haven't been to H&V since I was a kid. We aren't a fan of Mama and don't have an extra TS credit to spare on derby. Which would you choose as a party without kids?

Can you pay out of pocket for one of your other meals so that you could use the credit towards Brown Derby?

I have not eaten at Hollywood & Vine, but if your intention is to see the Pixar and Fantasmic shows it seems like a good plan to book the package there for one dining credit. I do not do the DDP, and would never pay the the incredibly high oop prices for H&V. I have noticed that the reviews for H&V seem to be getting better.

What about Beaches & Cream if you are willing to take the walk (or boat ride)? Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk? Cape May Cafe seafood buffet, if you enjoy seafood?

I personally do not enjoy any of the food options in HS that I have tried (admittedly have not tried H&V, since I can't justify the price paying oop). So, we don't do table service there.

We just ate at Hollywood and Vine on our last trip and we all enjoyed the food and we were a party of 10. We didn't expect to because of many reviews but it was good. We used to like Sci Fi - but since the last time we went we decided to eat elsewhere. We do enjoy Brown Derby but if it is 2 table credits then I would pick H&V since you get to see the Pixar/Fantasmic show.

I would suggest keeping Sci-Fi. We had Hollywood and Vine and it was our least favorite meal on our trip. You could also choose Mama Melrose's if there's availability, it has the fantasmic package included.

It's one of our favorite buffets. Mostly for the seafood mac and cheese! There are always a few creative dishes that stray from the typical "buffet food." There's a chocolate fountain too!

Personally, I wouldn't want to eat at HS. I think they have the worst meals of all the parks. My DH and I only have snacks (and their snacks are fabulous!) at HS and leave the park for meals.

What about 50's Prime Time? I wasn't a fan of Sci Fi, I don't like Sci Fi at all, the food was just fine, nothing great, but I felt like I couldn't talk, like it was a movie theater. I loved 50's PT. Great food, loved the decor, so many conversation starters.

What about 50's Prime Time?
We have two nights at HS so that when can see both shows. 50's was the first choice and is already scheduled for the second night!

I am not a particular fan of eating there either. This is a mother/daughter trip and my mom is close to 70 so I'm trying not to spread things out too much and add any extra walking.

Thanks, I think I'm going to give it a try. At least it's something different and I wasn't too impressed with Sci fi last time I was their either.
