I will be visiting WDW with my 9 year old son. We used to visit every year with my two oldest sons but stopped going when my wife got sick. Anyway this son was 3 last time we went. I took the family to DL this summer and when we were all able to compare the two sites except the 9 year old I decided I needed to take him so that all the kids could be on even terms. We are going the week after Thanksgiving and he wants to do rides and characters since he still loves them.
Here my two plans for HS. Before I go on let me say that we will be doing 1.5 days here due to Osborne lights, characters, shows and Fantasmic! To much he wants to do. On this second day we plan on doing Toy Story with FP, Animation characters and either OL or Fantasmic. So for the morning of our first day we have two options.
1. Toy Story Mania standby
2. Buzz and Woody Meet right after
3. Meet Characters at Hat
4. TOT with FP
5. Rock n Roller Coaster with FP
6. Indiana Jones
7. lunch
8. Star tors with FP
9. Rest of park
OR we can avoid the mad dash to Toy Story and do that on the second day.

2. Phieaus and Ferb meet
3. Meet Characters at Hat
4. TOT with FP
5. Rock n Roller Coaster with FP
6. Indiana Jones

8. Star tors with FP

I am leaning toward option 1 but wanted to get some thoughts. I do hate competing at rope drop so option 2 is less stressful for me but my reasoning for option 1 is that with FP+ there is not such a huge rush to TSM and people will use FP+ for TSM and go to Sunset for the two big rides, sign up their kids for star tours laser show or visit characters. On the other hand does that mean Buzz and Woody will get busier while people wait for their FP window to open? So that when we get off TSM Buzz and Woody meet will be longer than usual.
If I get there by 8:15 on December 1 what option would you take? Thanks guys!
