We are going to the Hard Rock Hotel in July for 2 weeks,

Can anyone tell me do they have safety deposit boxes in the bed rooms?

Do they provide Travellers Cheque Exchange?

Is there any cash points around locally?

Are there any local shops or supermarkets to the hotel?

cant help with the hotel but are your TC's in US$? if they are, which the should be, then you dont exchange them you just spend them anywhere, they are jsut the same as cash. Only diff is you might get asked for ID.

Hi,
I'm staying at HRH for the first time this summer but have stayed at RPR(onsite at universal before).
The hotel have code safe in the bedrooms.
Your room key doubles up as a chrage card. I normally pay for everything with this and then pay the bill with TC, you can chnage them at front desk.
not sure about cash points.
There are lots of shop at city walk- but not supermarket like places.
Your best bet is to put this question on the universal hotle thread- further down the board

As Ruth B says, the safes are codes, and you set it for your own number, you can even reset it everyday if you want to a different number
