We are going to be staying at the HRH in June. We just found out that a family of 4 will be in town the same time we are there. Are they able to visit us for a midday cool off at the pool one day?

Yes, but they'll have to pay for parking if they are bringing a car.

You can also tell them at the front desk that you have guests. I've never heard of anyone's guests being turned away before, though.

Make sure you bring your room keys with you to the pool. The pool attendants may want to check to make sure you are actually hotel guests and not just park visitors out for a swim!

Edited to add that I've sent an email to Loews to inquire about their most recent policies. I'll keep you posted.

No problem. We brought guests with us when we were there in June 2010. Nobody even asked us for our keys. Just don't BYOB- that is not allowed :goodvibes .

last year at hrh, the TM asked to see a room key before towels would be issued to the guests.

We had to show room keys last August at the towel shack and I think we were given bracelets. You may want to check want to double-check with the hotel.

Both at HRH and RPR the past few trips needed to show a key for every towel we wanted.:thumbsup2

This past March at HRH as we went to enter the pool area through the gate there was a person set up with a table and chair and a sign requesting you to show your hotel ID. We were there 5 days and this was only done on the weekend.
