Hi, I was thinking about eating at the HRH pool, as I think my DS4 would really enjoy it - do you know what the serving hours are? Is it possible to get food in the early evening by the pool? Plus what days and times do they generally show the pool side movies in May?

thanks ever so much:thumbsup2

We were just at the Beach Club @ the HRH pool the last week of June.....

You can eat early evening....and earlier. Not sure about your time in May, but the dive-in movies start around 8:30pm and the pool slide closes at 9pm.

If you click in my signature to link to my recent trip report, post #91 (page 7 i think) has the menu for the Beach Club and some pix.

The food there was really good!:thumbsup2 Since it's right by the pool, I got a table and ordered the food while my dd went on the slide. I called her when the food came. I got to relax with a beverage,;) and my dd didn't have to wait for her food.:lmao:

I don't remember exactly what was on the menu, bugers, salads, etc I think. I know my dd had several "kid" choices. If I remember correctly, the tip was added on automatically, so check your bill.

My kids claim that the Beach Club at Hard Rock has the best chicken fingers they ever had. They have them every time we go and still love them. I think the orders are generous size too, which is great. My kids will split one order if they aren't too hungry.

thanks alot for the replies - we will definitely be eating here!!!

Thanks especially to Bubbas Mom - I'm going to have to sit down properly and read your whole report - but the HRH Beach club part with the pics are great!!! :) (By the way - we live in Exeter - but in England!! - What a coincidence!!!):thumbsup2

Yes, I've been told by many DISers, that I MUST do my TR....(i really don't have a choice...they like 'em too much! ...a secret? do a daily TR on laptop before bed everynite...then I have cliffnotes  ) I try to include a lot of pix in my TR's because i know people want to SEE stuff....I liked "seeing" things in other peoples' TRs when i was first planning to go...so, yes, i'm the weirdo who takes pics of menus and food and such..... and only once has someone said anything to me (that was a gent from Mass. and we struck up a conversation and it ended up w/ his wife involved and me leading them here to the DIS)

I put Reading and Exeter in my location, but we are a township within the Reading area...Reading zip codes are 19600-19612! (It just narrows it down a bit..cuz it covers such a large area!...but, i know there is an "exeter" pa. somewhere up north.....)

Hope my TR helps you plan your vacation! (That IS, after all, the idea! :thumbsup2 )

I had hot wings at the pool and whoa, they were HOT and delicious :)

We did this too. DS swam and went on the slide as we sat at a table. As soon as the food came he came over and we ate.. The food was very good. My DH and I split the loaded Nachos (which were delicious and enough with lots left over for the 2 of us) and my son had the kids burger. They do, however add I think 18% to your bill automatically...even if you take the food to go.

Looks good :thanks:

I can see us eating by the Pool even though I have every intention of going to HRC - the kids always overrule when there's wate r to swim in :goodvibes
