For those who have stayed recently, which club level do you prefer and why? Have read that HRH is at the bottom. What is the difference between the two?

Thanks.

I cant speak for HRH Club, but the RPR Club was great!!
We just returned on Thursday and had a fantastic time. The lounge was never very busy. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The food offerings were plentiful for the most part. (I wish they had a bit more variety during the midday hours, since that's when we took hotel breaks from the parks)

The happy hour times were great to relax with a beer and light snack, while planning the evening activities with the family. The club staff printed my boarding passes in a snap and always greeted us with a smile and "hello".

I cant wait to go back. We love the hotel, the pool and the access to the parks! We hung around the pool for a couple hours everyday and enjoyed a lot of the menu offered at the Bula Bar at the pool.

Have Fun wherever you decide!

We will arrive at the RPR at around 7-8pm in the evening in just less than 2 weeks time. What time is the Bula bar open until (for food) - it will be a Friday night and we wanted to watch the dive in movie but will also probably be hungry! What kind of things do they serve?

We never ordered food after 4:00pm or so. We seemed to be there between 11-3 everyday. The family next to us at the pool asked one of the servers if she could get a plate of nachos as we were leaving the pool area around 5:00 one day and I believe she said no problem. My 'Welcome Aboard' packet states that the Pool Bar is open from 11-6 with food service till 5. Unfortunately, we were only there from monday-thursday last week and the dive-in is on Fridays only. :(

IIRC the Bula Bar had: Nachos, Crab Cakes, Spinach Dip/chips, Fruit Salad, Caesar Salad, Sliced Roast Chicken Breast Wrap, Quesadillas, Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/gouda, Cold Shrimp appetizer, Regualr Burgers, Turkey Burgers, Garden Salad, Fish sandwich or Fish and Chips (I'm not sure), Kids Chicken fingers, Kids Hot Dog, A deli sandwich too, I think.

We also had big draft beers, Mai Tai's, Pina Coladas, Strawberry Daiquiri's, Margarita's, Pacific Something(frozen drink), Tsunami (blue mixed drink)!

BTW- All the BULA Bar food/drink has a built in 18% gratuity! I was miffed at first, but it actually made it easy to just 'sign and go' after getting our order.
Everything was not totally overpriced.

I hope this helps a little...it sure helped me remember what a great time we had! I wish we got to stay for the Dive-in movie, but they did have a bunch of other organized games going on around the pool area.(Billiards,Ping-Pong,Basketball, Volleyball, Face painting, Hair Wraps, etc)

I just pulled out a receipt from lunch on Monday at 1:34pm.

Server:Elena (really nice)
Kids Grilled Cheese w/fries...$4.50 (standard on white bread)
Kids Hot Dog w/fries X 2 ......$9.00 (good size, kids liked it)
Chili Chicken Wrap w/fries.....$10.25 (I liked it alot)
Caesar Salad.....................$9.25 (not too big, but very fresh)
16oz Domestic Beer............$4.25 (very refreshing)
Total w/tax and 'auto service charge' ....$46.82

We sat at a table right in front of the bar looking at the pool. We sat in our suits with T-shirts/cover-ups and bare feet. We also brought our drinks over from our pool chairs while we waited for the kids to dry up and come over.

The menus are attached to the pool chairs and you can get served at your 'spot' at the pool as well.

i have only stayed at club level at HRH 6 times.

can't compare it to rph as haven't stayed there yet.

first stay at rph wil be this coming october.

i am curious on the difference also. :)

I have stayed at both and prefer the RPR much more. The difference, for us, was the size of the lounge (RPR is much bigger and more comfortable), staff (RPR was friendlier) and the offerings which were better at RPR (more asian influenced which we love). Also, I heard that they have limited the club floor to just the seventh which will make it even less crowded.

The HRH was okay, stayed there twice, but would pick RPR again. The only thing I like better at the HRH is the pool and cabanas.

HRH also does not have internet access for guests in the club lounge as the RPR does. We prefer RPR. The lounge is far bigger making is seem much less crowded. The dessert offerings are far nicer too. RPR has an assortment of cakes and pastries each night. HRH has only one or two items.
