I am a Loews Gold Member and am planning on doing a split stay at HRH (1st time) and (RPR ,love it) in the 1st week of December. I am wondering if I am more likely to get a suite upgrade for $35.00 during the week or on the weekend? I am not sure which is usually busier at HRH.This will help determine how I split my stay.
Thanks!!!:)

The prices for the hotels generally goes up on weekends so I assume that weekends are busier.

when you book for the hrh, tell them then you are a loews member and have the upgrade put in then.

out of 12+ visits when i was blue and gold with loews, sometimes i was lucky to get the upgrade.
other times i recieved pool view instead of standard garden view.

i booked today and requested the free upgrade with the platinum card.
it was guaranteed.

ask when you book. don't wait until you check in unless you are told the gold won't give you the free upgrade at this point.

Thanks for the great responses.I will definitely let them know I am a Loews gold member when I book my reservation. I was just thinking I would really like to try and book a couple of nights when I am more likely to be able to upgrade to a suite at checkin for $35.00 more a night.I think a couple of weeknights are my best bet. I'm sure I will love HRH no matter what room type I get. I know I will be able to get upgraded to a poolview if I call soon enough since I am a Loews Gold Member, but since I am only staying 2 nights at HRH a suite would be a special treat. Does anyone have any poolview recommendations for poolview at HRH.
Thanks I greatly appreciate all the great advice both of you give me and everyone else on this board!!!!!!!!!!:)

Thanks for the advice. I just booked HRH for 5 nights in December, they are giving me a Deluxe King room for $191.20 a night (AAA rate). I am still trying to decide if I want to split the stay with RPR for $167.00 a night. I really do love RPR and Tchoup Tchoup but the deluxe room at HRH is a great deal. :)
