We just got back from HRH. It is a beautiful resort but they do need to work out some problems! I had orginally booked a room for three nights. I called a few weeks later to add a night on to the beginning of our stay. When I got to the hotel they first said that I would have to change rooms. No way,I said. The ressie person that I Talked to said he would join the two ressies together. So, After a call to "some powers that be" the front desk said fine but, you will have to come down in the morning to check out then check back in. I agreed (even though I thought this was crazy)So, I came back the next morning before going to the parks to check in again!! Guess what? They did not have a record of my ressie for the next Three nights! I was livid! Somehow my ressies had been cancelled. They then told me the rate would be 219.00. Thank goodness I had my confirmation for my 145.00 rate listed. Anyway, After standing at the front desk for 45 min. (with a mile long line of people behind me) they finally got it straight.

That was the bad! Now for the good.

The express pass was wonderful!!!!!
The HRH pool was great.
The beds at HRH were so Comfortable!
Most of the Hotel Employees were super nice!

We had a great time. Thank you for letting me blow off a little steam. If anyone has any questions, I'll be glad to answer.

I'll be there in 3 days!!! Is the express line easy to find for all the rides? Was it very crowded? Where did you eat?

The express ride entrance is easy to find on most of the rides but not all. Be sure to ask if you don't see it. It was pretty crowded but it did not bother us at all because of express ride. We never waited more than five min. on any attraction. We ate at Hard Rock Cafe, Finnegans's, Lombard's Landing,Mythos, Margaritaville, Nascar Cafe, and Sunset Grill in the HRH. They were all good but Mythos was by far the best. The banana chocolate cake was wonderful!

Eww, I hope that doesn't happen to me. I was originally booked for three nights this coming June but called the other day and added 2 more nights. The gentleman I talked to said I wouldn't be getting a new confirmation in the mail which of course makes me nervous.

Maybe I should call HRH directly before we go to make sure they have us down for ALL of our nights!!

Kitty 34,

I would call and make them send me a new confirmation. When I called to add my day on he told me the same thing. I said,"Are you SURE everything is in order? I don't want to get there and not have a room." HE laughed and said that everything would be fine. HA

Did you have reservations for any of the restaurants? How long did you wait to be seated? Did you flash your HRH card?

I do not find it strange that you ahd to check out and back in. We have had to do that at WDW when we had 2 separate reservations at the same hotel. They were able to arrange that we stayed in the same room but we had to go through the check in process for both reservations.

I have a reservation at the HRH for June. I was never sent a written confirmation. I had a reservation there last month and never received a written confirmation for that one either. I made both reservations through the Loews 800 number. Has everyone else received written confirmations for their reservations?

whalewatcher,

I only had ressies at Mythos. I made ressies for the Sunset Grill when we got there but didn't need them. We showed our card at Hard Rock Cafe and bypassed a very long line. Walk up to the attendent and show your card and he will send you on inside.

My brother stayed at the HRH a couple of weeks ago and he said it was amess. The service was poor. And his reservations were not what he had made originally. I've seen alot of bad reviews reguarding poor tracking of reservations and double billing. I don't think I will go there anytime soon.

To WDW: Was the HRH noisey for sleeping, we have a pool view and I am now wondering if we should change it to another view, as I heard it gets noisy with the music they play around the pool.

Deb.

Bring your confirmation Number. Also on your credit card bill report it should state the amount you were charged for your first night and it will also give the date of your arrival. Bring a copy of your credit card charge and show this also as well as calling ahead. This should help stop some of the headaches. :pinkbounc

Cottentail,

We did have a pool view room and we could hear some music at night only. We at first thought it was coming from a room next to ours but it came on each night after 10:00 p.m. and stayed on until a little after 6:00 each morning. I don't think it was coming from the pool though. Thankfully, my husband brought his sound machine and we turned it up high every night. We were on the 5th floor.

I stayed at HRH last week and they were able to link my 2 separate reservations into 1 so I wouldn't have to even come down and get new keys.

Also they clearly explain what they need to charge to your card if you want to use the minibar and room charge.

I was also given an upgrade from Garden view to Pool View. They did offer me an upgrade to Club Level for $60 per night but I didn't take it.

They are solving many of the problems posters over the past few months have had.
