Hi everyone

Just after a little advice please. My boyfriend (soon to be husband) has suprised me with 17 nights at HRH and even though i am extremely excited i am worried about what to wear. I have shorts and t-shirts to wear for the parks but then dont know what to wear on the night for eating at the restaurants, going to bars or even things like chilling by the pool to watch a film. I have never stayed at a 5 star hotel before so wasn't sure if they had rules of what you can and can not wear.
If anyone has any suggestions please advice it will really help.

Thanks

17 NIGHTS!!! Why don't you just bring all your clothes from home and move in permanently? That would solve the problem:confused3

park attire is fine for the restaurants in city walk and the hotels.

i have seen some ladies wearing sun type dresses or casual attire at CW in the later evening.

HRH is not a 5 * hotel.
it's listed as a 4* place.

i have stayed there and find it enjoyable.
you will see all types of clothing worn at the hotel.
some dress up and some dress down.
if the weather is hot, adapt your clothing to adjust.

velvet lounge is at the hrh.
have seen casual wear there.

emerils (cw)and tchoup tchoup (rph) are the only places i can think of that has a suggested dress attire.

collared shirts for men are suggested.

i live in shorts and tees while i stay on site.

Yup, like Mac says, you are fine in shorts and little tops. The only time you need something fancier is if you eat at the very fancy restaurants and even then they are very relaxed. Just throw in a couple of sundresses.

Thank you so much for your replies. feel so much better now as worried i was going to have to buy yet more clothes when i have just bught new clothes for the honeymoon.

Thanks again for your help

you really can't go wrong with what you decide to wear.
wear what is comfortable and something you like.
you won't be seeing all these peeps who are dining, once you leave the place.

i have been to Latin Quarters in shorts and teeshirt while a table not far from me had the females in heels and complete evening wear.

most in that place for dinner were dressed extremely casual (basic park attire) so we all looked at the ladies that were dolled up...........

I am so so so glad to hear that! i am not really the type of person who likes to get dressed up or wear dresses and never feel more comfortable than when i am in some shorts and just a basic top

Thank you again for putting my mind at rest it really is a big weight off my shoulders with already having so much to think about with planning the wedding.
