We're a family of four, but both my kids are tall. DS 17 is 6'2" and DS 12 is 5'3". If we don't book a Deluxe, we will definitely have to rent a roll-a-way since nobody can stand to sleep with the 17 yo.

The best price I can do so far is $233/night for a standard and $305/night for a deluxe with AAA discount. Are there any other advantages other than room size that I should be aware of when booking a Deluxe? I've seen conflicting room sizes mentioned for the deluxe (400 sq ft and 500 sq ft). That's quite a bit of a difference.

Do you think the deluxe is worth the extra $72/night?

The deluxe rooms are considerably larger than the standard. When we have our two teens with us, we really appreciate the extra floor space.

Check the AP rates. It may be worth buying one to get all the discounts.

The extra floor space will be nice along with the couch to sit on while we're in the room.

Right now the AP rates are the same as AAA rates.

We loved the deluxe room at HRH. We're book at a club level room this July and are hoping for a deluxe room (we requested it but there are only 4 so its the luck of the draw). I would have gladly paid extra for a deluxe club room but it wasn't an option. We're a family of five so the deluxe room was just the perfect fit!

We really enjoyed our deluxe room. I had 2 teens as well plus a little one and the extra room and sleeper sofa was really really nice.
