I've done searches and am still not sure I got the info I was looking for. We have 3 deluxe rooms booked for next week (Nov. 26-Dec. 1). Will they allow us to keep those rooms, but pay the extra for Club access? I checked, and the nightly rate difference between Deluxe Queen and Club Level is $30. There's enough club rooms available when I check the rates, but I know there's only 4 deluxe on club. We can't go to reglular Queens, need the deluxe for the extra beds (sofa).

thanks for the help!

call the hotel directly and ask if you can be allowed the club access for a fee.

rules change frequently and this way you will know in advance if it is possible for your group.

i do know you can pay to be upgraded to club level but with that, you are staying on club level.

you stated you do not want to change floors, just have access to the lounge.

We asked about this when we checked into our deluxe room on October 26th. We were told that yes it was possible to keep our room on the 5th floor but still upgrade to Club level. However the upgrade price was $100 per room per night!! so we didn't bother. It isn't possible to actually book a Deluxe Queen room on Club level, just pot luck as to whether there's one available when you check in. You can make a request in advance but it's not guaranteed! Hope this helps.

We just stayed club level at HRH and don't waste your money. The offerings at the lounge are very lacking. I'll post pictures later if I can figure out how to do it. Their "evening cordials" was a tray of cookies. :confused3 And swarmed with unsupervised kids.

The hotel and the rooms are awesome, though! Bug thumbs up for our stay there, except for the lounge.

Sadly, I have to agree with you on the club level offerings. We stayed Club for the very first time in August. Don't get me wrong, everything about our trip was AWESOME; rooms were great, upgraded to a deluxe club room and also comped our first night stay because our room wasn't ready when we checked in at 6pm. No complaints there. However, we were disappointed with the club offerings. Breakfast was the best of all the offerings of the day, snacks were always goldfish, doritos and pretzels, along with drinks, at 5:00 pm I was very disappointed with the finger foods. I never enjoyed anything, pot stickers twice, eggplant fritters (yuck), one night they had mini meatballs and they were okay. Evening desserts were always the same, chocolate chip cookies & white macadamin. The week we were there, they had a "keeper of the cookies," staff only allowed 2 cookies per person :-(
Would I stay club level again? Probably, but not sure if I'd do it again at the Hard Rock. Thinking about trying Royal Pacific's club next time, although the Hard Rock is our favorite place to stay.

That's exactly what we experienced! Except for the "keeper of the cookies." Didn't notice anyone supervising all the kids swarming the tray of cookies. The breakfast was the best spread, but that's not saying much.

I booked CL after seeing someone's pictures on here of the RPR's club level offerings, so I thought HRH's offerings would be even better, right? Wrong! We love the HRH, but if we do CL, we'll try the RPR. We kept thinking for $100 more per night, we could have put a serious dent in that expensive fridge food they offered in the room and had better food. :lmao:

We are set to do the club level in Jan. How did your trip turn out? Was it similar to reviews? Is the club level worth the extra cost?

Hope you had a great trip:thumbsup2

Our trip was fantastic at Hard Rock, no issues. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was awesome in every way. Kids had a great time and do not want to stay anywhere else in the future. I can't say enough good things about it. Yes, I was disappointed in the club level offerings, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't stay there again. I just might think twice about paying the upgrade to "club." You'll have a wonderful time, no worries.....
