HRH club was my family's favourite place to vacation. i would rave about it to friends etc.we were theremarch 2008 and then aug 2008 and then checked in with another family march 2009 for 5 days.

the club lounge has been renovated they now have chairs that are like plastic school chairs, water and pop is now kept in the back you have to ask not like before you walk in and grab a few for the park now you wait for a person and ask. the people working there are great still and friendly

the menus have changed drastically it was funny when we walked in the club lounge they recognized us and said the menu has changed i asked if they still had fajitas? no cheesesteaks?no pizza? no chicken skewers? no

etc we were there five nights the only thing my kids would samplethis time was chicken wings(still there) the other nights were more asian noodle types gone is the cheese and crackers and the veggies that used to be a staple were hit and miss

the desserts really disappointed my family every night cookies choc chip etc they were good but we were used to sundaes, cheese cake, etc

cutbacks were evident

going august and going to try rpr club any info on their offerings???????????

Sorry to hear your experience was less than it has been in the past.

if you wrent happy at hrh, you wont like rpr. need to go to pbh, if you ask me.

Wow :( I was really excited to try it in September...has everyone been finding that the cut backs on service are pretty consistent everywhere ?

I guess they didn't have much variation for snacks in the evening ?

That really stinks. It seems like I've been seeing cutbacks everywhere I turn, which is understandable considering the state of our economy. It's a sad situation. I'm happy to hear that the staff is great and friendly as usual. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, a lot of people here ask about club level.

What a bummer! I would be curious to hear about RPR as well. We have plans to stay there in June ~ our first club level experience. I based my decision to stay club level on what people posted that they had experienced in the past. Sure hope it hasn't changed too much. Anyone have any receint experience with club level at RPR?

I'd like to know as well since this will be our family's first club level experience. Wondering if we should do PBH instead :confused3

I think you might be better off at RPR or PBH. If I'm not mistaken, this doesn't have to do so much with cutbacks (although, obviously there were some) as it does with the fact that HRH isn't a Loews resort anymore.

Really? I didn't know that (but I haven't stayed on-site at Universal for a while).

agnes!

Yeah, so I guess whoever is running it now (Seminoles? I don't know..) has lower standard for Club Level.

Also as a result, the YouFirst program now only applies to RPR and PBH.
