HRH and discounts

OK, I have changed plans so much like my son said we are going to be lucky to have a room when we get to Florida. I just added another night to HRH and cound't get a discount. the same room I will be staying in with cost me another 100 bucks for one of the nights. As much as I wanna stay there extra nights I don't think I am willing to put out 100 bucks for that. Has anyone booked a room at full price hoping a discount might show up? I was told to keep calling back. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I tried everything to get a discount at HRH for June26 for one night. The reservation person was wonderful..did AAA, entertainment, fanclub and couldn't get below 229.00 for the night. I finally went to travelhero.com and got HRH for 183.00. Wish I had some of the prices others got! Oh well! I think perserverance does help.

I had the same problem...they only had the room available at the discount rate for a few of the days I wanted. SO, I called the hotel directly...(the front dest, at a off busy time not at C/O or C/I times).

I spoke to the front desk manager...and he was awesome!!! I explained that I wanted to add some days at the same rate, and that Loews ressies could not do it for me. He came back in a few mins and said it was done!

I was shocked!!...I am not sure if this is policy...but it worked for me, I called around 7pm-8pm est.

I than called Loews back just to make sure that it was in the system and it was.

I would give it a try...what is the worst that could happen?

We are staying at the HRH for 3 nights at the Ent Rate of $125. I wanted to add another night and could only get it for $169 promotional rate.

Ok, I think I am going to bite. I got the same room, pool view for 187 and change. On one night I got the entertainment rate for 150.53 so that isnt that far off. I think it might be more the few more dollars

I called the front end at the hotel direct. he split the cost so the room was Reservation # XXXXXXXXX is for a pool view room with two queen beds at $142
per night for 6/9 and $135.00 per night for 6/10 at the Hard Rock Hotel.
so for 7 more dollars I am staying in the same room. This guy was so sweet to do it, he ended up making a bad day better for me.
