Can anyone tell me a little more about the layout of the 2 Queen rooms and if a full sized Aerobed would fit on the floor? My son is 6"2" and hard to sleep with. I was wondering if a full-sized Aerobed would fit on the floor. If not, we'll probably just end up renting a cot since that would be more comfortable and more like a "real" bed for him.

Any thoughts/experiences/suggestions?

i think that a full size wouldn't work. you could put a twin aerobed in front of the window.

How about a deluxe queen room so you have a pull out sofa bed ? we found this to be a great solution for our oldest DS

Does the size of the room justify the $200+ more for 3 nights?

Wow ! The price difference is THAT much !? If you don't mind me asking, what are you paying per night for a regular room ? when we went, the price difference between a regular room and a deluxe was about $30 a night :confused3

With the AAA rate the regular room is $233/night and the deluxe room is $305/night. :guilty: That is for the end of July. I'm hoping a lower rate comes out. I even checked out the APH rates and they are the same as AAA.

WOW, I paid $239 a night for the deluxe queen room through the website, i'm sorry to hear how expensive it is for your dates ! and honestly, I wouldn't pay it ! when we stayed last year we had a regular room are they are pretty roomy, so maybe you'll be fine with the aerobed ! :thumbsup2

DH wants me to go ahead and book the Deluxe Queen. Does anyone know if they actually charge your credit card when you book online?? Trying to decide if I should wait until next billing cycle or not.

When did you pay that out of curiosity?

Both times I stayed at HR, my credit card was not charged until check in, I don't know if this is the norm, but it was for us (I booked through the web site)

As far as my rate goes, I got that rate for Feb. 1 - Feb. 6, I also got a free upgrade to a deluxe queen in club ! Maybe the rate was cheaper because it's off season :confused3

We are going the last week in july also with 5 in a regular room . My kids are 14,11 and 4 so we are bringing a areo bed twin size for the little one. I think he will be better off then with a roll away. We are also in the HRH and when we booked the package through the web site we were charged for the whole vacation now so be sure you are on the right billing cycle. \

Have fun

be aware that you will have a nightly charge at hrh for the roll away

Yep, I think it's $25/night. We'll only be there 2-3 nights. My son has some other medical conditions which are affected by how well he sleeps so it is a small price to pay.

Does the Deluxe Queen with sofa allow 4 in the room? I'm thinking 2 on Queen and 2 on sofa bed.

The dlx queen has 2 queen beds and one queen sofabed. The rooms allows 5.

I just called as for us there was no charge for the roll away I don't know maybe because the little one is only 4 ? I told them we didn't need it anyway and it wasn't even a problem . But still no charge . :thumbsup2
