I finally got around to posting this report, maybe I am still in the vacation sleep in mode.
First Theme Park Resort vacation where we slept in until atleast 9am every morning. Thanks to the FOTL!!!!!!!!
Arrived on the 3rd of July at 1pm and the room was not ready , no problem, we looked around the Lobby and then headed out to the Millenium Mall to find the BJ"S nearby and ate at Wendy's paying for the $10 OFF coupon.
Having two tweens with us the snacks at any Resort wasn't going to satify them.
Returned at 2:30pm and received all the goodies and room keys for room 4095.
We liked the location and floor level which we requested ahead of time.
The view was above the tree line overlooking the court yard and shuttle dock on the East side of the HRH. We also had a canopy over our room's window , one of three rooms on that floor.
this was nice when it rained or in morning the sun shine was limited. Maybe that was the reason why we got up late everyday.
After a 2 hour down poor not allowing us to get our luggage from the car at the self park area, we never had rain the rest of the stay.
After unpacking the tweens and MOM went to the pool, I scouted out the Hotel getting familiar with the doors, floors, room types,
and amenities.
Next day we got up LATE 9AM and headed for SeaWorld on the 4th.
At Sea World we got the $10 off per admission thanks to Wendy"s, and had our pictures taken for the second day free.
Had a geat time at Sea World like usual and loved the new port area. The shops had nice quality merchandise at reasonable prices tipical of a Budweiser Co. love that hospitaly house / caff, and brew sampling house. The Tweens still enjoy the exhibits and rides of SW.
Left SW before their Fireworks and returned to the HRH.

Sitting at the pool at the HRH near the baby wading pool the Fireworks went off almost directly over the HRH sign and in additon the IOA and US. displays were synchronized.
Had a late supper at Sunset Grill and turned in for the night.
Second day went to US and just missed the Krispy Kreme donuts at a coffee shop near the enterence of US, sold out!
We made the mistake of buying the large Shrek soft drink after completing MIB, where we bought a photo of us all battling Aleins. the cuopon on the side of the large drink allowed a 20% discount on the Photo but when we tried to get an adjustment, the attendent at the photo lab said coupon 1st, discount second, so we used it on Jurassic Park photo.
Allday long the tweens needed fluids and we kept getting discounts. EX. 20 % off meals at fast and sit down resturaunts, 20% of items in the gift shops, we ate 75% of our meals in IOA or US. The coupon was good for both parks.
NOW THE BEST PART!!! FOTL WAS A BLAST, for years going to WDW and staying at the onsite RESORTS the FOTL was what I expected and never got like the room key privilage from the HRH.
WOOOOOOW!!!!!
Walk into Jimmy Newtron wait 10 min, walk into Shrek wait 10 min, walk into MIB wait 10 min, THE BEST, no matter US or IOA.
We used the FOTL on almost every ride and attraction except the Pteranoden Flyers.
TIP: if you have more than two people in your group have the front desk punch a hole in the room key and wear the group's keys around your neck with a lanyard attached with a key ring.
They sell them in the parks, the attraction attendents loved the idea instead of each person in your group handing them the key.
Took lunch in at the HRC. nice setup there too, gate next to Nickeloen studios allowed us to take a short cut back to US.
Finished up the day with rides and repeat s and had supper at Mel's dinner and got 20% 0ff the total bill.
Tried to get a Krispy Kreme donut for breakfast but all sold out again.
Took the boat back to HRH, where the tweens took in the pool and parents just veged out.
One note the first time I was ever asked to leave a pool after 11pm, I mean physically asked to leave! HRH says CLOSED IT IS CLOSED.
The next day got up at 9am went to IOA. and had a BALL!
Bought two day regular pass from AAA in Lowell MA and on the second day IOA. converted the passes to third day free.
PLus that week ,If you went to US. for the day, after 9pm you could take the US pass to IOA. and get in free for the fireworks display and etc.
