There was a lot of talk about problems for "Pooh" sized folks on FJ did they adjust or is it ok? It is our focus in going so we'd be upset to not be able to ride. Ladies - for reference I'm an 18 and my friend is a 22 if that helps.

Also there used to be paper passes like the old FP at Disney do they still offer those or is it pay for the privilege only now.

I haven't heard any adjustments to FJ seating but you should be able to ride but it might be snug. I was a size 16 and hold weight in lower half and fit but it was snug. I saw others that I felt were larger than me and they rode as well.

The 2 end seats of the 4 seat FJ benches are slightly bigger. However, you should fit in any seat, just don't wear bulky clothes.

There hasn't been free 'fast passes' at Universal in about 10 years. Either stay at one of the 3 deluxe resorts and get Express Pass complimentary or buy a 1-day EP (Single ride version or unlimited ride version). Either way, Forbidden Journey and probably Gringotts ride and Hogwarts Express train will NOT be in the EP list of attractions. FJ and Olivander's never were and likely won't be in the EP list in the near future.

My partner was an 18/20 for our first trip back in 2010 (pre modified seats being on the ride). She fit twice on FJ with some pushing and once was made to get off. I would just head to the two end of row seats (modified) so you don't have to squeeze. A team member might direct you to those seats anyway.

Not that it matters because of how the seats are placed you might not be able to sit next to each other. Really not a big deal since you can't see the person beside you anyway.

In my experience it is really BUST size that is the biggest problem. They simply get in the way. I always ride when wearing a minimizing bra. Without I got turned away even from the modified seat.
