How's the weather right now?

We're leaving tomorrow for our trip to the World! I've been checking the weather forecast and it has been showing rain every day. I was just wondering if all of you locals could tell me what the weather has been like lately? Raining all day every day? Or the typical afternoon shower that moves through quickly? Thanks.
