How's the S Harbor Walk Right Now?

I've been seeing some negative reports about the S Harbor walk right now, walking south towards the Hyatts, in terms of safety/homeless. Can anyone chime in with how it has been lately?

Was there a couple months ago and it was fine, maybe even better than in trips of years past. Only place where we saw what appeared to be homeless consistently was right at the 7-11 parking lot. Other than that was just the usual tons of Disney visitors. In previous visits it seemed there were always a few "campers" in some of the grassy areas between Katella and DL entrance, but this last visit we didn't see anyone in those spots.
