How's the Gas Supply in Orlando?

Just wondering if the 2 recent hurricanes have affected Orlando/Disney??

Most of the gas in FL. comes from the regions hit by the hurricanes. It is too soon to know if there will be shortages because of any damage.

We saw initial shortages right after Katrina, but within a few days it had recovered. I"ve got to run out in a few minutes to CVS, and am going to fill my tank (for all who think I'm topping off out of panic...no, I"m on 1/4 tank, so it's time to fill up). I'll report when I get back.

Keep in mind that I'm in a fairly residential area with minimal tourist traffic, and a 25 miles from Downtown Orlando and DTD for that matter.

Just got back from errands. Regular was $2.67 a gallon at Hess, which is about teh pre-Katrina price. No lines. All grades available.

After watching all the reports about Rita and seeing that most of the refineries came thru just fine, there really should be NO shortages whatsoever (outside the actual damaged areas).
The price might "jump" a little, but that should be it.
I recall all the media hype after Katrina--how gas could be in short supply for "months and months" and how many months it would take for the damage to be repaired.
Didn't happen. Everything was pretty much up and running after a few days.
WDW should have no problems with gas. If they do, someone is playing "games".
