We've always brought our lunch to the water parks but this time we'll be on the Dining Plan. How is the CS at Typhoon Lagoon? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Well its ok, ate there in March and it wasn't bad, wasn't good either. Just standard theme park fare

We ate there late in the day... on a Saturday... as EMH were beginning. The hot dog was a hot dog. But the fried chicken sandwich wasn't NEARLY as good as the one I'd had at Tusker House earlier on the trip. Not a lot of taste and the bun was... crunchy. A bit stale shall we say. Think chicken sandwich in really thick melba toast. Okay, maybe it wasn't THAT bad... but it did crunch when I'd take a bite. :)

ETA: The fries WEREN'T crunchy... wish they had been.

Anyone have a good (or at least mediocre) meal at Typhoon Lagoon?

There was nothing about my CS meal at TL that was memorable, good or bad. It was OK. Typical CS meal.

We had a fried chicken sandwich, a chicken wrap and a cheeseburger. Nothing was steller, but it was not inedible either. We don't go to Typhoon Lagoon for the food and since coolers are allowed you could just bring your own. Personally I don't want to cart that much stuff with me and the CS is fine, not a gourmet experience, but ok.

We did not eat a meal at TL, but we did get some of the delicious doughnuts with suigar and white chocolate!

We visited TL twice last trip and we never brought any food with us. As others have said, it was nothing memorable but the food was decent.

OMG! Those doughnuts look SOOOO good! I've never seen them before at TL.

I will definitely be on the lookout this Sept!
