How's the food at the Plaza?

Thinking of cancelling our ADR at Tony's because my brother's family said it was the worst restaurant they ever ate at and also because of a lot of poor reviews here as well.

Already eating at LTT on August trip, looking for one more TS in the MK. Have never tried the Plaza and don't see too much about it. Any reviews, good or bad?

We like the Plaza (and pretty much agree with your brother about Tonys). That being said, the Plaza menu is kind of "lunchy" in that its mostly sandwiches and burgers. It has great ice cream too. We don't eat there every trip but do like it a lot. We tend to make ressies for lunch though.

Another option for dinner on your MK day is to leave the park and eat at a restaurant on the monorail line. We suggest Kona, 1900 Park Faire or a boat ride to Whispering Canyons

I ate here for the 1st time this month & I loved it! Such a nice little place, great atmosphere & the servers were very friendly. I ordered the vegetarian sandwich with broccoli slaw & ate every bite I look forward to eating here again!

We LOVE The Plaza. It has been a must do for us the last three years. It is a change of pace from the "big meals" we have every where else. The portions are huge and the sandwiches very good (burgers, grilled chicken, reubens, clubs, salads), the shakes great and the sundaes....

We love the Plaza for a change-of-pace dinner. It's in a great location and has good food, too!

Thanks for posting this question! I never even thought of this restaurant. At the moment, I can't even picture where it is!! I assume it's a TS credit on the dining plan. What a great children's menu!!!

Yes it is 1 TS credit. It is located around the corner from the Main St. Ice Cream Parlor.

Yes, it is a TS on the Dining Plan. If you walk down Main Street past the bakery and the ice cream shop and make a right towards the Noodle Station that connects with Tommorowland, you will find The Plaza Restaurant.

My family and I went to the Plaza for lunch in August 2006 and found nothing wrong with their food.

I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to the deluxe plan so maybe this will be our lunch while at MK instead of doing CS.

Thanks for posting this question...I'm in the exact same situation...we currently have two ADR's for our dinner that night, one at Plaza and one at Tony's, but i think we are going to cancel our Tony's one...because I asked this same question on another thread and got the same kind of responses...Plaza here we come!
