How's the Contemporary resort

We will be staying at the Contemporary in August. This will be our 3rd trip to WDW, our first at Contemporary. Anyone have any comments?

We love the Contemporary. We have stayed all over the property and have always wished we were there.

I like the Contemporary. Good restaurants and the convenience of the monorail access is priceless!

You will LOVE the Contemporary!!! It is hands down our favorite resort at WDW!!! We have stayed at many (all of the deluxes, and a few of the moderates), but always wish we were at the Contemporary. My DH has gotten to the point that if the Contemporary is not available for the dates we want, we will try to reschedule our trip - which is not very easy!!!

That's great to hear, we stayed at Carribean last year and was very dissapointed. We have a garden view, should we request a high floor?

It depends on either or not you are in a wing or in the main tower. The wings are a little tougher to get to the main areas...beside the pool. I would try and request or pay the extra money for the tower...

What is the pool like? I don't remember seeing a themed pool like the other deluxe hotels. Any help would be appreciated.

The South WIng and I belive the towers have alll been renovated. The North Wing is still outdated...
The walk is great, pool is nice and who can beat having a monorial come through the hotel!
