We havent been in awhile and the menu looks different from the last time we ate there. How's the newer food? Seafood pot pie sounds good. And we will be there next tues so its a calamari day. Is it any good?

ate there in September...had the calamari and it was great (so good that it was hard to get more. Every time we went back it was down to the ends & bits. We finally managed to be there when they just refilled the pan.)

Last time we were at CApe May was a couple of years ago...we thought it was better now. Seemed to be more seafood now than there was 2 years ago. All the non-seafood was good, too.

We like the CMC for dinner. I am not a seafood lover but have friends who love the clambake options. I don't think you be disappointed.

My husband and I were there the first week of October. We also went on a Tuesday, because we LOVE calamari, and at 6:30 on calamari night they were out of calamari. We were really not impressed. There were certain things we really liked though. The clams were yummy, one of the pastas was fantastic, and we loved the peel and eat shrimp. The crab legs were plentiful, if you like crab legs. And of course, the oreo bon bons. So my opinion was that it was fine. Had we been paying out of pocket instead of on the dining plan, I would've been more upset. We would probably go back, but it won't be a priority next trip for sure. Which is a bummer, because we were really looking forward to it.

how do you know what day is "calamari day" versus "X day"?

One item on the seafood side of the buffet rotates. The days are listed on some of the online menus: IIRC, Tues & Thurs they have fried calamari (which we loved), on 2 other days they had fried fish fillets, and on the remaining 3 days they have fried shrimp. Everything else - crab legs, clams, mussels, etc - is always available.

oh i see! thanks!!

My family and I ate there for the first time last week and thought it was great but a bit pricey. The crab legs were plentiful and I thought they were some of the best I'd ever had (keep in mind I'm from Ohio so our fresh seafood choices are pretty limited). I do know we ate a LOT of crab legs. My son really liked the clams and mussels. I can't recall anything that I didn't like. Service was excellent too. It was my son's birthday and they gave him a card and a special dessert with a candle in it.
