Because of the schedule that I've planned, we will end up near Discovery Trails around lunch time so it's easiest to go to Pizzafari but how's the food there? Just to give you an idea on my taste, I love Boston's North End best, Pizza Hut is pretty good but a bit on the salty side.

We always get the hot italian sandwich, which is kinda like a calzone. The food's okay, nothing WOW!

I imagine that due to the huge # of ppl that WDW feeds daily, that the Pizza safari pizza, isnt much diffetent than the Pizza Planet pizza etc... Thats what I found to be true about the hot dogs and burgers. I only remember PPs pizza. Reminded me of Chuck E cheese :thumbsup2

DH and I liked it. I plan on going again. I had a sandwich (don't remember what it was but it was yummy!) DH had pizza; he loves WDW pizza. The pizza here is just like all other WDW places.

I tried it a year ago and thought that it wasn't very good, but edible none the less. It reminded me of being in jr. high and buying pizza for lunch. On a side note, one of the Disney World Food Network or Travel Channel shows showed clips of the resturant and their pizza making machine where every topping is done by machine and not by hand.

I thought it was disgusting. Whatever sauce they use for the pizza is awful.

I would have much rather ate at the Restaurantorous for a counter service.

i'm a pizza connosieur - i don't touch the stuff they call pizza at any wdw restaurant .

there are better things to eat - save the pizza for home.

that being said, pizzafari is a really cool place to go in and have a look around at the mural decor - it's also a nice and cool place to stop in for a cold drink!

The hot Italian Deli Sandwich is fabulous. It comes with Chips. We usually add a side ceasar salad for a great meal!! We usually eat here twice during a two week trip.

I have family members who absolutely love the sandwiches offered. We make a stop there every trip. However, what I do is settle those that like their offerings in, then I run to either FT or TH for myself. I think these are 2 of the best CS places in all of WDW, so I wouldn't settle for Pizzafari just because you may end up near there.

Being as I grew up in Boston and worked in City Hall throughout college, (City Hall is very close to the North End), I shuttered even thinking about North End Italian and Pizzafari in the same breath. I know people that would get physical over such a thing! (LOL).

We enjoy eating there and the kids love their pizza. DW and I will either get the sandwhich or pizza depending on which sounds better that day.

It is so depressing that even my kids think Dominoes is "awesome" pizza. I've given up on trying to show them what good North End pizza is. Like those big square pies at the European (*sigh*).

I love Pizzafari! I've eaten at Tusker house and FTBBQ, but I keep coming back to the hot deli sandwich at Pizzafari. However, I've never had their pizza.

Hi......My family and I just ate at Pizzafari today!!!!!

I have never eaten here before, but have been to Animal Kingdom many times before. We all loved the food. Even my son who has to be the pickiest eater to ever walk the earth. :rotfl2: He had the pizza, plain cheese, and loved it. My daughter had the chicken ceasar salad, which she shared with us, and it was great. I had the chicken parmesean sandwich, yummy :cloud9: (I think that I ate it in record time, for a slow eater).

I said next time we will all get something besides the salad individually, then get a cesar salad to share (it was really good). I hope this helps, oh and the dining area is very exotic and everyone should go in this place even to only look at the scenery.

Thanks for the memories, Harambe! I used to love that place. It had slipped my mind until now. Wow! Wasn't it a bit on the dark side...no windows, at least where I used to get seated. It was a great place to handle a crowd, though. I seem to remember getting together with a whole bunch of friends there, before it closed its doors.

Thanks again!

We shared a pizza from here as a snack during our visit to Animal Kingdom! It was okay, but definately not the best pizza that I had ever had.
Wendy

Here's another adult that loves the pizza in WDW. We make Pizzafari a stop most everytime we visit Animal Kingdom. The breadsticks and pizza is a great combo.

Be aware that the pizza here is just like the pizza you will find everywhere else in the "World".

Have Fun!

we have eaten there the last two times we have been to AK... I prefer the chicken parmesan sandwich to the pizza but both kids ate the pizza and my older son loves the breadsticks. As a family we prefer the pizzafari to flame tree but that is probably because we have 2 little ones (ages 4 and 2)

LOL! Yeah, it was dark, so you didn't see "dem guys" conducting business over in the next booth!

Good times . . . good times!

Why is there no pizza on the kids' menu at Pizzafari? :confused3
