How's October weather?

I'm still weighing my options on when we'll go back to WDW. At first it was May, but we have entirely too much to do around that time. Then it was September, but I keep reading about how hot and humid it is and I do not do very well with extreme humidity. I'd be a wilted piece of lettuce before you know it....so now what about October?

Oh yea, how are the crowds?

I say maybe mid-October. 14-20.

October can be quite warm too. If you go later in October you're less likely to hit the warmest weather. Average highs in early October are near 88 degrees and fall to about 82 by the end of the month.

My mom and I are going to brave the heat in October and go the first week (1-7). We want to check in during value season so we can bump up our stay to the Poly, woohoo! ANy idea what crowds might be like this week? Thanks!

We were there this year Oct.1-9th and the weather was hot but not too bad. Wore shorts day and night. And we lucked out no rain.

we went 3 yrs ago during the 1st week and it was very hot, so this year, we chose the 3rd week of October for cooler weather and it was a freak heat wave the entire week 95-100. It was nice but very hot!!! Just be prepared!

We have gone the same week you are contemplating. As a whole-it's still hot and humid at times. This past October the hottest day ever in October in Orlando hit-it was in the mid 90s with humidity to match. Earlier in the week the highs had been in the upper 70s.

We were there October 21-28 this year. Our first two days were HOT (in the 90's, if I remember correctly). The rest of the week was wondeful, and we even had to wear sweatshirts one day. I guess the lesson is that you can xpect just about anything!
