How's May?

Just found out we are going back on May 7th. I've been in September, December, November and February but never May. How is the weather and how is the Flower and Garden festival. Does it make Epcot more crowded like the F&WF does? I'd love any insight. Thanks in advance.

May is a great time to go!! We're going back for our 3rd May in a row. We've always gone during the 1st week but this time we're going May 11-20th.

Epcot isn't too bad for crowds. We always head over early & are done before dinnertime.

The weather is warm during the day..but last year it was cool at night. We actually had to leave MK at 10:00 p.m. on a EMH evening when it was open til 1 a.m. because DS7 was too cold. Bring a sweatshirt for the evenings.

LOVE May!!!! It's my favorite time to vacation at WDW

We can't go during the school year any longer (dd is in highschool) so we're stuck going in the summer.

We will be there May 19-June 1st. I'm sure it will be starting to get hot and an increase of crowds, but we are ready!

Went last May - very end of May, early June. Poured every single day, since it was into their rainy season. Better not happen this year!

We're going May 7-11 to the POP! I can't wait!

Our two trips in May had some of the best weather! Didn't seem crowded either time, even at EPCOT.

May is starting to get hot but it is not unbearable like July and August. The crowds aren't that bad until Memorial Day when things start picking up again.

Oh, we will be there too!!! And like last year, we are hoping it doesn't rain. Going earlier this year May 10th, because last year it poured down from June 1st to June 4th and didn't let up day or night.

we are going in May for the first time too. 2-10th staying at Sports. Have been in Jan. Feb. April, Oct and Dec. But never in May here is hoping for great weather

Went last time over Memorial Day Week. It was crowed on the weekend but the rest was great. It was starting to get hotter. This year going beginning of May. Can't wait!!!

We are going May 5 - 12. We were there last year at that time. The weather will be warm, but not as hot as August.

Plan on afternoon thundershowers, but they don't last long.

Just love going at that time of the year.

Have you tried for your ADR's yet? I am also going in May, staying at POR. Does anyone keep lists anymore? The only ADR I had a bit trouble with was getting Chef Mickeys for an early time on May 7th.
