There will be three adults and three kids in my party and we are all staying in one room at La Quinta. Anyone know how the suites are and how transportation is?

That is an excellent question because I was considering staying there at one point for our party of 3/3. I would love to know for future consideration.

I do know that they use ART for transportation, and there is a fee. They stop at several of the area hotels. I can't say how good or bad they are, though. We've only ever drove or walked.

Oh Dear. Last time we were at the Holiday Inn and the shuttle was direct. I hope it's not a problem (long waits and crowded shuttles). If anyone else has more info that would be great, otherwise I'll be sure to give a full report when we return!

I'm bumping this.. Anyone else?

We're planning on staying there this coming May..

I found their site by googling La Quinta but I didn't take note of the website. The good neighbor La Quinta is newly renovated. The rooms look nice, and they even serve eggs with their continental bkft. We booked by phone but I guess some suites have a "second" room with bunk beds for the kids. I don't think this is the suite we're in :( I wish I had known!

What day are you leaving? Maybe if you call to double check, and if not they could change you.. We had that problem at the Portofino, I didn't double check how many beds (we wanted 1, they gave us 2) and I called and the lady at the front said they were booked but to keep calling if there was an opening.. There wasn't, but it doesn't hurt to call and ask.. :)

If there is a specific room type you wanted, you definitely should call and ask if they have availability for when you are there. I know your trip isn't that far off, but there is always a chance you can get what you want.
