How's it going with SOG overflows

I still have been waiting to call SOG. Our trip is 4-23 to 4-30 and we are on the overflow list for SOG. I'm hoping we can get All Stars at a deep overflow discount or maybe cash in on the Contemporary deal. What's been happening lately for anyone in my situation with SOG? Thanks!

My understanding is they don't offer overflow until 30 days out, since that is the cancellation deadlline for SoG reservations and first option is to get you into an SoG room---which would really be at CR, so keep your fingers crossed!

It didn't use to be that way! We tried to get a room well over 6 months in advance in 1998, and since they were booked, we were given overflow rates at the other WDW resorts. We also had the option of being placed on the wait list too.
