How's CP for Dinner?

Hi!

When we visited in November we had breakfast at CP. We loved it!! DH is a huge Tigger Fan and he asked that when we go this September that we do it again. I am working on an Itinerary, and here is how it stands...

Right now I have a Breafast ADR at CP on the Tuesday. I was originally planning for us to go to MK that day, but it seems better if I make that a more relaxing day at DTD. So here is the question:

Should we keep it, leave after breakfast to go to DTD and then go back to MK for Wishes that night? or is CP dinner good and skip the breakfast and make a dinner reservation so we go back and have dinner before Wishes?

I know alot love the breakfast at CP ......I have not done that one yet but we have had two great experiences for dinner time. The food is fantastic and I am very picky about buffets. Everything was perfect and delicious.....I loved the prime rib and also the salmon.....my favorites......plus the chipolte whipped butter to put on the breads......delicious......it will be on our must do lists from now on.....we went there at Christmas time and just a few weeks ago.......

We enjoyed dinner at CP. All of the food was fresh and good, and the character interaction was fun.

Before you cancel, make certain it's available for your party.

We have done both. We enjoyed both. There is something quite unique about this site at different times of day. In the morning it is cheery due to all the glass. At night it's pretty due to all the little lights.

The food for both was enjoyable. My sister is vegetarian, so there were a number of choices at dinner for her, which is always a plus for us. Even for everyone else, a meal with lots of delicous veggies is...well, unusual when dining out. I mean how many salads can you eat a in a week? This has improved somewhat in recent years but still at many places the best vegetable is a salad, or you order a pasta dish that's supposed to have veggies in it and the dish arrives and it's 90% pasta. OR you get a side of veggies and they are plain canned green beans that have been boiled to mush...CP has interesting and delicious vegetable preparations, so that is a real plus, IMO. So good, it gave me ideas to use at home. I like that.

At breakfast, there is plenty of fresh OJ..and breakfst is good, but otherwise, it's mostly similar to food that you can get everywhere.

The characters at both meals are the same...so even though I knew that going into it, the character part of the meal we did second was just kind of hum drum...'been there already' for us.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I am going to call and see if there are any dinner ADRs available. If they do, I am going to switch to dinner.

Dinner is much better than breakfast at CP IMO. It is always one of my "must-do's".
