How'd It Get There?

Last night I found a very dead and stiff frog in my window! :scared: I had just finished getting ready for bed when I decided to open the window in the bathroom. It had rained on Sunday and the window frame was quite dirty. I started to clean it when I noticed something in the corner. Suspecting that it was some sort of bug, I grabbed a tissue and pulled it out. That's when I saw it was a frog! I threw it back in the corner and closed the window on the frog and the tissue. I quickly washed my hands and tried to decide what to do. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle getting it all the way out of the house, so I decided to leave it and call my dad in the morning. He could come over and take care of it. I washed my hands again (for good measure) and got into bed. I knew that I wouldn't be able to sleep, so I decided to be a big girl and figure it out. I realized that I had a perfect solution. I could drop it right in the toilet and give it a wet ride out of my house. So, I grabbed a plastic bag to protect my hand, another tissue and went for it. After a few flushes (didn't want it coming back up) and washing my hands about 5 times, I went to bed.

I don't know how it got there. :confused3 My window screen is intact and tight around the edges, so my thought is that he snuck (hopped) into the house while the door was open and hopped to the window where he died. :bounce: That's the best I can figure.

:scared: I'd have to be carted off to the loony bin if I saw a frog dead or alive in my house. :faint:

Hmmm...ever see the movie "Magnolia"? You said it rained?! :rotfl2:

yep!! Time to go bathe in clorox again! :guilty:

:faint: I never thought of that! Don't freak me out any more than I am!

I'm going to go wash my hands again! :thumbsup2

Ewww, I hate frogs more than anything. They seem to have found a home under my window shutters too! They poop all over the place. it grosses me out.
I found a dead stiff one under my son's bed while vacuming. Either he brought it in or it snuck in. :confused3 I never leave doors or windows open either. YUK!! You could probably hear my scream a mile away. I feel your pain.

I'm assuming tree frogs. We get them all the time. When it rains it's worse.

They get into my house quite often too, I think they may be able to sqeeze into tight spaces.

They scream too if injured, my cats catch them and play with them, not a pleasant sound, almost like a baby crying.

I had one in the house before a vacation and was joking with the lady taking care of my animals, not to harm "Sticky" the frog. If I could had shoo'd it out before leaving I would had. About a week after I returned from vacation, I found Sticky, no longer with us, under the computer desk. eeewwwweeeee

Well, look on the bright side...you could have found frogs in your purse and your luggage....

If I ever found any frog in the house you'd have to cart me off to the loony bin!! I'm being serious.

We once found a live frog sitting in the dog's water dish (I was about three.) It was so big it filled the whole dish. We suspect it squeezed in through the sliding glass door. :sad2:
This is why I need therapy now.

Hope you don't find anymore!

You're right, they aren't!! I've tried bleach, moth balls, bug spray and more to get rid of them. YUK!
