Last night I found a very dead and stiff frog in my window!
I had just finished getting ready for bed when I decided to open the window in the bathroom. It had rained on Sunday and the window frame was quite dirty. I started to clean it when I noticed something in the corner. Suspecting that it was some sort of bug, I grabbed a tissue and pulled it out. That's when I saw it was a frog! I threw it back in the corner and closed the window on the frog and the tissue. I quickly washed my hands and tried to decide what to do. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle getting it all the way out of the house, so I decided to leave it and call my dad in the morning. He could come over and take care of it. I washed my hands again (for good measure) and got into bed. I knew that I wouldn't be able to sleep, so I decided to be a big girl and figure it out. I realized that I had a perfect solution. I could drop it right in the toilet and give it a wet ride out of my house. So, I grabbed a plastic bag to protect my hand, another tissue and went for it. After a few flushes (didn't want it coming back up) and washing my hands about 5 times, I went to bed.
I don't know how it got there.
My window screen is intact and tight around the edges, so my thought is that he snuck (hopped) into the house while the door was open and hopped to the window where he died.
That's the best I can figure.
