Hi there :flower:
Just booked our first 2 nights in Orlando, before we check in to our villa, at the Howard Johnson Enchantedland.
I've booked a tree house room for DD (7)
Has anyone stayed here recently, have any comments to make, feel I should cancel and start again.......
Thanks.

I would say that compared to most people on these boards, I have pretty low standards. We basically get a room to sleep in because we are at the parks all day, and I love to save $. One of my requirements is that there is a fridge and micro, and some sort of privacy wall, and they had those in the room.
We stayed here for 1 night before our weekly rental started a few years ago.
It was ok, I could do it for 1 night if I had to, but you might be able to find something nicer for a few dollars more. We did not pay much- maybe around $40. There is a partial wall between a sofa sleeper and the trudle bed, so no real privacy. The pics on the website look much nicer than the actual hotel does. The room themeing is basically a painted wall. The front desk was very nice. I think we got to Orlando fairly early and they let us check in early. A very basic pool that the kids said was cold. I think they had some kind of ice cream thing going on the night we stayed there.
Last year when we needed a 1 night we got a good rate at Amerisuites Calypso Cay- that was nice, but I think alot of the hotel prices are going up.
HTH- I think most reviews on here have been negative. You might want to try tripadvisor for more reviews.
soo- if you are kind of picky- don't go there, if you want to save $, it might work out for you.

Picky? Not at all :sunny:
Cheap? Sometimes
I think we'll have to stick with it now as DD is excited about the tree house!
It's only for two nights and we have lovely accommodation booked for the remaining time so guess there's no point worrying :teeth:
I'll go and look at TripAdviser anyway.
Thanks for sharing :sunny:
