How young is too young?

and I was just offering my opinion. plain and simple
Each person does what is right for their family
For me, I would never take an infant to a amusement park, but that is me.

as for daycare...there are only a certain amount of babies/adults in a given room at one time......and they usually are the same people at the same place every day.

Forget what everybody tells you and follow your dream--Just Do It!!! We are going with our son--just turned 2yrs. October 2nd can't come fast enough for us!! He probably won't remember --but WE WILL!!This of course won't be his only trip--just the first of many. We've heard the same things from other friends--"their kids are too young to remember anything" wait until they are old enough? "Wait for what? You wouldn't consider going again???" We ask. I guess everybody isn't as passionate about WDW as we are . Too bad for them.

It depends on why you are going.

If you are going for yourself, and you enjoying watching them, then taking toddlers/babies might work for you.

If you are going for them, wait until they are old enough to appriciate and remember it. That means when cognative memory begins, which is different for every child - but generally they retain/remember things sometime between 3 and 5.

People take babies all the time, and personally it wouldn't be my choice. If I did, I wouldn't be cramming them on every ride they could get on as a baby even if it's allowed - no one wants to be on Pirates trying to hear the ride over a six month old screaming. On the other hand, you don't want to keep a baby out in the hot sun all day either. /shrug
