How Young is Too Young???

People have made similar comments to me too. I thought about it. I am 42 and don't remember lots of what I did 15 years ago! I think DL memories are priceless.

My 3yo can't wait to go meet all the princesses. She vividly recalls her encounter with Pluto last year when she was 2. The expression on the faces of the younger children is so fantastic. I believe that Walt wanted a park that was for families of all ages. Strollers may be annoying to some, but as long as the person pushing them is conscious of others they can be a lifesaver!

I can't wait to go, even if my kids don't remember one thing about the trip, I know I will always have the memories of the looks on their faces and the joy you see in all of their expressions.

I am counting the days til August 16 when we will arrive!

Aussiejen, you are absolutely right. It is funny how when someone asks for advice, (always about babies) that they get hounded with negativite comments. People should respectfully give the advice you asked for, or don't give any at all.

After your dr. gives you clearance to travel healthily, your baby is old enough to go to WDW!

I went at age 3 and I remember it and love it. I remember the Kitchen Kabaret, the castle, drinking orangeade out of a plastic orange and the turquoise strollers and of course the hotel pool lol. My nephew went at 3 and loved it too. In fact we chose to have our family mainly stay at the Contemporary for our wedding because my nephew remembered "the hotel that the monorail goes through" from when he was 3 (he was 5 when we planned, he's 7 now). Kids remember and even if they are too young to remember, YOU remember that they had fun and you have great pictures. I hate when people think babies and little kids shouldn't do anything fun because they won't remember. What are you going to do, sit in the house all the time?

If they can't walk, talk, or control their own bodies then they're too young. Do it when they're fun to be with and can remember the stuff you do. Around 4-5 I'd say

we are taking our kids in eaither april or may. they will be 1, 3, and 4 1/2.

It's DISNEY!!!! No age is too young in my opinion, there is nothing better than seeing your babies smile and dance in the parades with the characters, and try new rides.

We took our kids when they were almost 3 and 5 months! And we flew down from Vancouver. DD loved it and I have some adorable pics of DS with his mickey ears and being held by the princesses.
We are going back in September, DD will be 4 and DS almost 2. We'll have the stroller and diaper bag and looking forward to every minute of it!!

We took DD to DL for her first birthday and 2 more visits before her 2nd birthday. She loves Disney. We took her for her first WDW trip last year before she turned 3 so she would still be free. We are taking her this September for her 4th birthday. This will be her first trip with a ticket and our first trip without a stroller and diaper bag. She will be getting an annual pass (along with mom and dad) so we can take her and our grandkids early next year for their first trip.
