Go about surprising your family with tickets to MVMCP? I've purchased tickets to the party without telling my kids or DH:rolleyes1 I would love to hear how all you creative Disers would surprise your families/friends! TIA

This would depend upon when you plan on telling them. It would have to be before your trip.

You could put them in a ziplock bag and place them in a Jack-O-Lantern. You could decorate the Jack with Mickey Mouse Ears and try to make it look like the mouse. Then place the tickets inside. Show it to your family and ask someone to light it for you. When that person opens it, he or she would see the tickets. Sounds corny I know. :confused3 But, you could do it several times for each person.

Maybe somebody more creative than me could come up with something better.

What a wonderful surprise....can you keep it a secret???!!!! I love to do Tinkerbell gifts, so I would consider something like this:

* tuck each ticket into a mini stocking or personalized santa hat or mittens/knit gloves (it can get chilly at night) and arrange in the room when you are on your way out---they can be a surprise to discover upon your return or leave out when not a creature is stirring and let them discover upon waking.

if you can't wait that long:

* cruise over to the Creative DISign boards and check out some of the awesome designs. Many folks have great websites with fun graphics that they joyfully share...anyway, search for an MVMCP invitation or ask a designer to help you with customized one....print it up, roll up like a scroll or some such, and have it "delivered" to your crew. Who wouldn't love a personalized invitation from Mickey?

Also, you may have read this story on the boards, about the parents that announced to their grown children and grandchildren that they were going to WDW via a fortune cookie. I think that is the ultimate surprise delivery that I have read about here. There are also a bunch of creative folks that do scavenger hunts to announce the trip....if you incorporated one into your trip or pre-trip plans, that could also be a lot of fun.

Happy planning....I am sure your family will be delighted with their surprise!

You can also wear a costume one day and simply announce, "This is what I'm wearing to the MNSSHP. What about you?"

Great ideas...thanks....I love the halloween ones, but I'm not sure thoes will work for the Christmas Party surprise :rotfl:

Okay only one thing to say on my part. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I read through your post so quickly I didn't catch it. Sorry about that!

Well that changes things. Then I say on a cool night make hot cocoa and say it tastes good, but I bet the free ones at the MVMCPwill taste better.

Or you can give/send them a Holiday card and put a ticket (or a copy if you do send it by mail) in each one.
