How would you treat your time in DCA if the new rides were not your priority?

Might be a bit of an odd question but my DD8 has like, zero interest in the Cars movies. I tried to get her to watch the sequel recently but she meh'd it and that was that. Granted when we get there she might really be jonesing to do the rides because, well... they're rides :p

I'm looking forward to the area as a whole but I'm ambivalent about the rides so I'll try the single rider lines if they look manageable. My DH will go along with whatever his ladies like ;)

So when the Park opens to the general public is there a place where we should zag to when everyone else zigs?

Toy Story Midway Mania. This is our plan for one of our EE days next week. We love this ride, but the line is always sooooo long. Hoping to hit it first thing and avoid the madness.

Even so Cars Land is ultimately the best land at DLR. Don't go in with prejudice go in with an open mind. The whole land as a whole can be described with the word "awesome", focus mainly on the moutains not the town to see this. RSR is really great as far as attractions at Disney go. Luigi's Flying tires is quite novel though it has long line for a short ride time. Mater's Junk Yard Jamboree is fun and has a semi short wait.

If DD though Cars was ok but Cars 2 not so great remind her that CL is Radiator Springs and barely has a hind of Cars 2. Grab the RSR FP right away and make her go back in with that open mind. It's great during the day and the place to be at night.

If you make the poor decision to forgo CL I would FP ToT if you are riding that at some point in the day. ToT is getting longer lines that most of the park so far. Then before or after that hit Toy Story Miday Mania just after park opening once ideally or twice if your arm can hold out. Then basically any ride you want after that in any order. Cars Land is taking the pressure off of other DCA rides so far.

ToT and GRR are importany to use FP on after RSR. This may or may not hold up but other than those and CL most attration in DCA are under 30 minutes wait.

Don't forget to grab a World of Color Show pass at some point in the morning or possibly early afternoon.
