We have an ADR for Chef Mickeys at 7:30 AM, the MK open at 9 Am. I'm not sure how we would be able to get there in time using Disney transportation. Will there be buses running early enough for us to then walk or take the monorail to CM. We will have a rental car, so that is a possibility, but we then wanted to go to MK after b'fast. What would we do with the car, I'm sure the contemporary would not like it to be sitting thre until afternoon. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. TIA

You can drive your care to the TTC and take the monorail over, or park it at CR. If you're staying on site, parking is free, you're good to go.

When we were at WDW this past August, my son parked our rental car at the CR because he was meeting my daughter and I for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern and was running late. I think he told the gate person that he was having lunch at CR just so he could get in the lot and they told him he could only park there for 3 hours. He said there were literally about 5 cars in the lot he was in!! After lunch he was going to move the car and I told him I didn't think there would be any problem with leaving it there for an extra 2 hours or so. Sure enough, when we walked to get the car, there were still about 5 cars in the lot and no one was around. That was our experience. I really don't know how much they actually enforce that 3 hour rule. Just might be an honor system type of thing. We would have moved our car if the lot had been more crowded, but it was a big lot and it was deserted.

When we get early ADR we normally take the Disney transpo to the Early Entry park & then hop a bus to where ever we are eating. Normally, it works out that we get there right on time.

We are staying onsite (OKW) Does that apply if you stay from 7ish to around 3ish? I have also read somwhere that you could use valet service and they wouldn't care how long you were parked at CR.
Thanks for all your advice! :)

The easiest thing to do is to go to your bus stop at about 6:45 and get on the bus going to the MK. It begins running early enough to get everyone to their ADRs on time. Check with the CM at your check in to make sure of which bus to take but one will be available for your transportation. I got to the MK on a regular day by 7:15 for the trains tour.

Mk is open early for all those breakfast eaters at the Crystal Palace and the Castle who have ADRs starting at 7 am. The buses will be running so no need to fret. You could take a bus to MK and either walk over or take the monorail.
