how would you celebrate ...

hi im going to disney for my birthday end of septemebr we are staying in dlh. i cant go too mad with my dh as we will be with 2 kiddies ( 4 year old and 2 month old) so what would you do to make it special?

i really fancy having a cocktail in our room on the evening when kids asleep but cocktail thread dont have much info about dlh cocktails etc

any advice much appreciated

I think the Ponchielli cocktail at the DLH's Cafe Fantasia sounds and looks absolutely amazing - that one would get my vote!

You'll have a fab birthday! I recently celebrated my birthday in Cafe Fantasia and sampled a couple My favourite was the Glowtini, I have now perfected it and make myself one every weekend although sadly my lounge doesn't have the wallpaper to go with it!

Real life's been a bit hectic here recently and very rudely keeps interrupting my DISing but I promise I will get reviews up on the Cocktail thread in time for your trip.

I second the Ponchielli!!! Whenever I visit DLP I ALWAYS have a Ponchielli cocktail in Café Fantasia ! It's delicious!

If memory serves it has Rum and Black Cherry Chambord in it and a mixture of fruit juices... it's so lovely! Oh, I can't wait till next month now so I can get another few of those down my neck

your trip report was fab just had a read through just now.. def up for ponchelli drink

i said in another thread i really wanted to try inventions for my birthday as i LOVE food and this will be the first proper time in 9 months i can eat what i like ( will not be pregnant by then) but i think the money for inventions would be wasted on my oh... i know i know i sound like cruella but he really is the worlds most fussiest annoying eater..unless its a roast dinner or steak or other genereal rubbish he wont eat - he dont even do dessert or alchol!!!! lol

Sorry, I know this is a bit off topic, but when you get around to adding to the Cocktail Thread, could I be cheeky and ask how you make your Glow-Tini? I have the correct alcohol, but can't seem to get the measurements right
