I decided to try and schedule a mini-trip for me and my soon-to-be-5 year old DD to celebrate our February birthdays. We're leaving in 16 days and we'll be spending 2 days at MK only.
I'm a planner, so after I crafted my excel spreadsheet for reservations/expenses, I started my plan of attack for MK. I figured out which rides she would like, and sorted them by location in the park. I was getting all anal about planning our route when it struck me. Should I just let her take the lead? I know she'll love everything in Fantasyland/Toontown, but I'm not sure how she'd handle some of the bigger rides. She's tall enough for most everything, I believe (45 inches).
The whole family is going back in December for a longer, more involved trip. We haven't been to WDW in almost 2 years. Last time we were there MK = ToonTown and Fantasyland. DH snuck in a few of the bigger rides, but I was pg with our son and couldn't partake. I'd love to try some new things and get some ideas for our December trip, especially on how to plan on using FP for a busier time of year.
Should our girls-only trip be a carefully orchestrated event or a more carefree experience?
