How would I make labels?

I want to make jar and gift labels, but I am not sure how using my computer.
Is there a certain software that I need to purchase?

I have made labels with Word. Just go to your office supply store and buy some labels and then open word and go to Tools: envelopes and labels and you can select the kind you bought. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Hope this helps!

What do you want the labels to say? I have a program on my computer called Print Master. I can use any graphic I find on the web or that comes with the cd and add text. I make my own address labels this way. If you wanted more than just text, pm me and I'll help you out
