How will Wine and Dine 10k and Half Marathon impact rope dropping MK?

I’m planning to rope drop MK this Saturday and Sunday. I’m an early arriver, so I like to Uber to the Contemporary and get to the park by 8/8:15.

Anyone know how Saturday’s Wine and Dine 10k and Sunday’s half marathon might impact my plans? I’ve been to Disney during the Princess Half Marathon in February, during which they close the road between Contemporary and MK, so that you can’t walk from Contemporary to MK. Anyone know if that will happen this weekend, and if so, if the walkway will be opened up by 7:45am-ish?

Since these races start in the TTC parking lot headed to an EPCOT finish line and don't go through MK at all, my guess is that you will have a magical time!

Oh good! I had a hard time finding the course map (although I’d course I found it after I posted here!) - glad you confirmed it’s not the same course as the Princess.
