We will be at DL on May 31, which is scheduled to be a Grad Night. How do Grad Nights affect the park during the day? Do the students come earlier in the day? Are those especially crowded days?

LOL Good question, I was just having a discussion with my dad the other day about grad nights cause we are going to be there during a grad night as well but on the 7th of June. The park closes a few hours earlier then normal and everyone has to leave but the grads who get the park to themselves until the next morning if I have heard correctly.

I said the park would probably be crowded with grads and their families and when the parents and the general public leave the grads get the park. I would think anyway that there will be a lack of grads the following day who have gone to bed resting off the festivities of the previous 24 hours in the park. Although I can be wrong about these things. Cause another thing is since the park closed a bit earlier people will wanna get back as soon as possible bringing in a larger crowd number. :confused3

As for you your also going at the end of May, that might work to your advantage because most schools are still in and its a thursday when most locals are at work. Weekdays are always much better then weekends. May I heard is a great time to go. I would think you should be just fine.

Should not affect you during the day. Students are bused in the evening and are strictly controlled into DLR after normal park hours. The only affect on regular visitors is shorter parks hours.

The grads won't be around the following day. They are local (more or less) and are on a school-sponsored grad night. They are bussed in for the event and bussed home in the morning. They will all be exhausted the next day (I was!), but everyone will be home not at DLR.

Sure it does, more clumsy CMs trying to get it through the week because he/she has to do a grad night because he/she is soo tired. lol.

Albort, you just told me on another thread how waiting until 2AM at night to ride Nemo is "worth it", and now you are making excuses for CM's working grad nights and then day shifts! ;)
