I've searched and can't find the answer-how wide are the wheelchair *seats* that are for rent in the parks? Dd fit nicely into them last year (with room to spare!). We're thinking of buying our own chair and bringing it, but I'm not sure what size to get. She tried out my MILs, but it was too snug imo. That seat measured 18". Thanks!

I believe a standard adult wheelchair is either 18" or 20" wide seats and that is what Disney has most of their inventory. There may also be some wider or narrower seats. I suggest you go to a medical supply store with your daughter and ask about being measured. They may also have some different sizes for her to try.

Chairs are sized in 2" increments, so if Grandma's 18" chair is too snug, a 20" might be right or a 24".
