On the Spirit website the link to info about this $4 snack box doesn't work. I was just curious to read what the snack was and if anyone thought it was worth it.

We have a looooonnng layover in Puerto Rico before getting on Spirit to Orlando. The food at SJU has always been pretty dismal, but I'm a bit worried about getting back to the airport in time to check-in if we leave to hang out somewhere else for a few hours.

Can't remember exactly what it had but it was better than I thought it'd be. Crackers, cookies, one or two cheeses (I think). Sorry I can't be more helpful but it seemed worth the $4 and I preferred it to a regular airline meal.

From what I saw - it wasn't worth it. Don't know exactly what was in it - but was in a box with what looked like cookies and maybe some crackers. We got the "free" animal cookies on the way down - and passed on the "free" pretzels on the way back.

But we ony had a 2 1/2 hour flight so maybe they are different on different flights (?)

We got one for our DD (3yo) on our flight from Atlantic City to Orlando and back. They were perfect for her because it had rice krispie treats, cheese & crackers, etc and kept her occupied for about an hour just preparing "snacks" for everyone around her.

LOL! That reminds me of the old (original) Midway Airline. I remember that they used to pass out chocolate mint sticks after the meal, and they recruited the kids to help. It was a great way to help occupy the little ones and also give them a chance to burn off a little energy.
