Hi all we have for a while been stick on deciding where to stay wether it be poly with our family of 5 "2 adults and 3 boys aged 8,8,10" or the LK suite at AOA!
We did a thread asking which one and everybody said poly lol sooooooo...

After booking LK we have decided to swap to Poly lol, but I'm very worried about how warm the pool will be, I've had major head surgery in the last 3wks and I'm on immune therapy drugs and feel the cold,
We are going on October the 28th for 15nights and when we stayed at AOA last October the LM pool was heated to bath water temps!!!
( not sure how many people realise that the LM pool is HOT way hotter them the cars pool or the main Nemo pool!

So what's the poly main pool like?
Also do they do the same pool activities for the kids that say SSR and AOA do during the day? My boys LOVED this and would be gutted to have time to come swim find out there's no activities & games.

Does the pool stay open at night like the AoA and SSR pool does? I understand about slide closer an no life guards.

Thanks so much :)

I thought the Poly pool was pretty warm. It was open until at least 11pm. And yes, although we didn't do them, the poolside games should be offered there (I think they are offered at every resort). Have fun!!

The standard at Disney is 82 degrees and the Poly pool is heated to that standard. The official pool closure time varies somewhat by season and the time will be posted. Closure means that there is no lifeguard on duty and swimming is at your own risk. The slide is closed and roped off when there is no lifeguard.

Fab thanks guys, I've been in some Disney pools that are not that warm lol,
For example I found the AOA main Nemo pool to be pretty col compared to SSR paddock pool, that we had stayed in for the 2weeks before our last few nights at AOA,

I wonder why the LM is so hot? It really is like stepping into a bath I thought my kids & DH was winding me up when they went on about how hot it was .....until I got in and then didn't get out again for 3 hours lol
