How warm/cool are the cabins at night?

I guess there is AC in the cabins, but how cool does it get/stay all night? I'm packing and wondering if I should bring the kids' short sleeved PJ's or not?

Maybe I'm over thinking everything? But only 11 days to go!! Thank you for your time! :flower:

I love the room chilly at night and have our AC set for 74 here along with a ceiling fan on high and I'm very comfortable in the cabin at night when I leave the AC on the lowest setting. My kids sleep in a short sleeve tee shirt and shorts and do just fine.

My DH thought the room was "just right", but DS and I both thought it was cold and stayed with long sleaves (actually, I didn't have enough long-sleve PJs for me so I just froze for a couple of nights!)

Um - 74 is NOT cool. :rotfl: 68 is cool. :rotfl2:

74 is COOL??? Um...we're in Denver and our thermostat is set at 64 at night during the winter AND I leave the window cracked!!

I Found The Room To Be Cold At Night, So I'd Jack Up The Thermostat Every Night, And The Stateroom Host Must Have Brought It Down Every Morning When He Made Up The Room, Dh Swears He Didn't Touch It. So If You're One To Be Cool Or Cold, Definitely Long Sleeves, You Can Kick Off The Covers. I Also Found The Halls To The Staterooms To Be Very Cool, Which Made Me That Much Colder Going To My Room. I Guess It Also Depends On When You Go, We Went Feb 3-6, And The Weather Was Quite Cool That Week.

It gets as cool as you want it...you have a control in your room so you decide how cool you want it. It never got cold enough for me..at home I keep the a/c on 62-64.

Anyone sleep with the verandah door open?

I think there was a sign there telling you not to do that...plus it got very muggy in there when the door was opened for any length of time.

I couldn't get our room cool enough for me but after mentioning it to our cabin steward maintenance came in and took care of it. You do have control of the thermostat.

I meant to type 72~and 72 down here in Florida with a large ceiling fan overhead is cool. We keep our temperature set lower than a lot of our neighbors and friends. Remember there is a difference between what you set your AC temp at and what you set your heat temperature at in Denver. When you have your central AC set, cold air is blowing on you, when you have your heat set to 72, warm air is blowing on you. This is what my AC is set on, not the heating system in our house, that never goes on! I'm orginally from NY and I can tell you that we kept our temp set on 68 at night so we didn't have the heat going and we keep our AC set at 72 here at night. Most people that stay with us say they freeze at night as cold air is blowing out of the vents!

As a long time former resident of the midwest, I still get strange looks when I walk around in t-shirt in 60 degree weather in Northern California or play in the snow in sweat shirts in the mountains... :rotfl:
