How VH rip us all off

Out of interest Ive just priced up our holiday for next year with VH

2 weeks, 2 adults, 2 children 1 bed saratoga springs with dining plan £6036, thats WITHOUT tickets !

I booked hotel+tickets+dining with disney which was £2,800 then our BA flights were approx £2,300 so just over 5 grand.

If you add the cost of tickets to the VH quote it would be 2 grand more

That is one of the reasons I brought DVC. I know Disney have done some offers at Saratoga springs and Old Key West recently however they are not are only going to be around till things pick up again.

In common with some of the other replies, we got a good deal with VH for Easter just gone. We booked way back in November 2007 when I was "just browsing" the VH website having already been scared by prices of £2000 for a week's half board in Cyprus, and got flights for three of us and hotel for a shade over £2k (we already had non-expiring park tickets for WDW).

Pricing up the hotel on it's own, this would have cost around £700 for the fortnight hence the flights worked out at around £480 each (direct from Manchester), so given that we were going at one of the peak holiday periods, we thought it wasn't a bad deal.

I guess it pays to compare packages against DIY, then it's up to people to choose how they see fit.
