How utterly stupid can I be?

I was talking to my son last night. He is coming home for R&R at the end of this week from Afghanistan. I said to him "you know about all the new flight restrictions, right?" He says "yes Mom, I work in customs remember"
Duh...he's an MP that works customs at the airport checking everyone in and out.
How stupid can I get? LOL

To put it in perspective: several months ago I was watching the news as about 30 US Army personnel went through customs. Each had to empty their pockets and several "Banned" items where taken (including a fingernail cliper). The next scene was of the Army personnel getting onto a commercial flight Each carrying their M-16 and Army issued knife
That is the flight I want to be on
