how unlocked is the wishbook to start off?

I have not contacted Disney yet to plan my wedding, but I was just doing the disney wishbook online. It seems that I can only look at the ballroom locations for the reception and just the basic things. I am not able to look at anything that I have heard is on these boards. I am looking at a wishes wedding and I double checked on that. I would just like to know if i can get them unlocked without having to put a deposit down. I would really like to get an estimate to see if a disney wedding is possible for me, but its hard when there are no options available on the wishbook. Any help would be appreciated!

I havent put a deposit down and yet i can get an estimate on both wishbooks for the intimate and the custom weddings

I just had my wishbook unlocked and it did not really add all that much -- just planning session pages (like how many bridesmaids will you have, etc.). The only thing I really found interesting were pictures of the cakes (but no prices). I did not see any additional info on prices that was not already included in the locked wishbook.
