turn on a skateboard...
right now i can totally balance on it.. but i dont know how to turn, i have tried leaning. cause thats wat my friend said. but it wont work. so if any of you guys or girls ride skateboards, please help!

Kick up speed and just lean towards the side you want to move to.
Keep your knees bent.

Beth you are doing much better than i would ever do. I can't even balance on it without falling on my butt.

beth there are two ways to turn on a skate board if ur trucks arent loose then leaning wont work well but i acctually like to push the tail up with my back leg and just kinda throw my weight the direction i want to go in

Yeah basically leaning forwards is how you do it.
I can do it, but one time I leaned too far forward and I scraped my toes clear across the pavement and then proceeded to fall off.
Wasn't happy.
Lol, I was in flip flops, not a good idea.

i attempted to ride a skateboard at my friends house last weekend...and fail miserabily. (sp?)

basically thats what i do. i love skateboarding.
